Water Laborer/Equipment Operator

Moorhead Public Service (MPS) is accepting applications for a Water Laborer/Equipment Operator. Under general supervision, this position performs installation, repair, and replacement of the water distribution system; operates the water distribution system; performs disconnects and reconnects of water services; and operates heavy construction equipment.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED certificate and one year of construction experience.

Desired qualifications include two (2) years of experience in basic plumbing, construction of water or wastewater systems, and operation of water or wastewater systems.

The current wage range is $24.44 to $32.58per hour. Benefits include pension (Minnesota Public Employee Retirement Association), health insurance, and generous vacation and sick leave.
